App — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 July 2026

This is the privacy policy for all Android and web apps published by Tikitech ("we", "us"). One policy applies to every app we publish — free, ad-supported, or paid — so this page will always be current, whichever app sent you here.

Apps covered by this policy:

This policy applies to all apps published under the Tikitech developer account on Google Play and other app stores, current and future. It is not tied to any single app name — if you arrived here from an app's store listing or in-app link, this policy covers that app.

How this policy works

Not every app uses every feature described below. Each app only requests the Android permissions it actually needs — you can always check the specific permissions an app requests on its Google Play listing before installing. This policy describes, for any app we publish, what we do if a given feature, permission, or monetization method is present in that app. Sections that don't apply to the app you're using simply don't apply.

Data we may collect, by feature

On-device only (never leaves your device)

Most of our apps' functionality — timers, stopwatches, widget configuration, calculator inputs and history, notes, calendar display, photo widgets, device stats (battery/storage/RAM) — runs entirely locally. Where an app reads calendar events, photos, or device sensors, that data is used only to render the app's own interface and is never transmitted off your device unless explicitly stated otherwise below.

Financial / calculator apps

Any figures you enter into a calculator app (income, expenses, loan amounts, or similar) are processed and stored locally on your device only, to compute and display results and, where the app offers it, to save your calculation history. We do not transmit, collect, or have server-side access to these figures. If a future version of a calculator app adds cloud sync or backup, that will be clearly opt-in and disclosed in an update to this policy before it's enabled.

Weather

If an app has a weather feature, it sends your approximate coarse location (or a city name you type) to a weather API provider (currently Open-Meteo) over HTTPS, solely to return a forecast. This is not stored on a server or linked to your identity, and using weather features is always optional.

Advertising (ad-supported free apps only)

Some of our free apps display ads to support development. Where ads are shown, we use Google AdMob and/or other Google-certified ad networks. These networks may collect:

This data is collected and processed by the ad network under its own privacy policy — we do not receive or store it ourselves. See Google's Ads Privacy & Terms. Where required by your region (e.g. EEA/UK), a consent prompt is shown before any personalized ads load, and you can opt for non-personalized ads or manage ad personalization in your device's Google Settings at any time.

Analytics & crash reporting (where used)

Some apps use Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics to understand crashes and usage patterns and improve reliability. This data is aggregated and not used to identify you personally. If a specific app does not include analytics, this section does not apply to it.

Purchases

Paid apps and in-app unlocks (e.g. a one-time "Pro" purchase) are processed by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment card details — Google handles the transaction, and our app only stores a local flag or entitlement record indicating what you've purchased.

What we never do

Permissions reference

PermissionUsed for
Location (approximate)Optional — weather widgets only, where present.
CalendarOptional — displaying events on-device in calendar widgets, where present.
Storage / Photos (via Photo Picker)Optional — selecting a photo for a photo widget, where present. Copied locally, never uploaded.
InternetFetching weather data, loading ads (ad-supported apps only), and checking Play Billing entitlements.
Run at startupRe-scheduling widget/timer refreshes after device reboot.
NotificationsOptional — timer/stopwatch/reminder alerts, where present.

Data retention and deletion

Except for ad-network and analytics data described above (governed by Google's own retention policies), we keep no server-side copy of your data. Everything else lives on your device and is permanently removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data in Android Settings. To request deletion of any data an ad or analytics provider may hold, use that provider's own controls (e.g. Google's Ad Center) or contact us and we'll assist.

Children's privacy

Our apps are general-audience utilities and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Apps that show ads are configured to request non-personalized/child-appropriate ad treatment where Google's Families Ads Program applies; check the specific app's Play Store rating for its audience designation.

Third-party services

Security

All network communication uses encrypted HTTPS connections. Since we keep no server-side database of personal data across our apps, there is no central server-side store of your information to be breached.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — including when we add a new app or a new feature (like ads or analytics) to an existing app — we'll update the date above and post the revised version at this same URL. Because this is a shared policy, check back periodically rather than expecting a per-app notification.
